Excellent Trout Fishing!

As well as RV and tent sites, Ace High Resort has 11 cabins available. This accommodation includes four traditional log cabins, with front porches (cabins 1, 2, 7, and 11). Three of the cabins are actually "Atco Trailers", once used as temporary miners' accommodation. These have regular bathrooms and kitchens, a double bed in one bedroom, a small single bedroom, and a double futon in the front room. The other four cabins are wood-framed. All of the cabins at Ace High are on the lakeshore. Cabin 3 is our oldest and most "rustic" cabin, and has two double beds in two rooms, good heating, and old-fashioned fridge and stove (which work just fine). Here's a brief description of each cabin.

 

Cabins 1 and 2
One room traditional log cabins with double bed.

Cabin 3
Two room cabin with two double beds.

Cabins 4, 5, and 6
"These are the Atco Trailer" cabins, fully plumbed, small bedroom with double bed, separate bedroom with single bed, and a double fold out bed in front room.

Cabin 7
Two room traditional log cabin - bedroom with queen size bed and double pull out bed in front room.

 

Cabin 8
One room wood-frame cabin with double bed and double futon.

Cabin 9
Two room wood-frame cabin with two double beds and a pull out bed.

Cabin 10
Two room wood-frame cabin with double bed and hide-a-bed in front room.

Cabin 11
Traditional log cabin with two bedrooms, each with double bed and double futon in front room.

 

All cabins are equipped with electric heat, stove, fridge, all standard cooking, kitchen and dishwashing supplies including large water container, dish soap, scrubber and towels. Some cabins have microwaves. Fresh bottom sheet only on beds. Bring your own bedding and towels or request a linen package - $5 per bed per stay. Rollaway cots, futon mattresses available on first come basis at no extra charge. Please note that Atco Trailer Cabins 4, 5 and 6 are the only cabins with plumbing. All other cabins must use the central washroom facility. All cabins have picnic tables and fire-pits. Split dry firewood available, $7.50 per wheelbarrow load, delivered to your site.
ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD TO BE BROUGHT ON SITE.



RV and Tent Sites

On-shore and off-shore sites are available. See price details on our Current Rates page. Prices are based on two adults with extra charge for kids. Dogs welcome, on a leash. Sani-pump service available Thursdays and Sunday mornings. The sites include electrical and water hook-up and firewood is available at $7.50 per wheelbarrow load. Tenters are welcome. Seasonal and over-30 day rates are available.

Boat Rentals

Power boats and motors, row-boats, pedal boats, and canoes can be rented by the day or by the hour. See the Current Rates page. Our on-site store has a great selection of fishing tackle, bait, and hand-tied flies, as well as fishing licences. Semi private docks are also available for use.


Facilities and Activities
Our general store carries convenience groceries, milk, and ice cream. We also have unique gifts, T-Shirts, souvenirs, local art and crafts. We sell fishing licences, fresh bait, tackle, and an excellent selection of hand-tied flies. Fresh baked bread and cinnamon buns are available two mornings per week (usually Wednesdays and Saturdays).
